About ME
HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 2026 / PG,SG,SF
My name is Matthew McKenney, a point guard from North Brunswick High School. I am a native of Cedar Brook, New Jersey, but my basketball and school journey started in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I am approaching my sophomore season and am very excited for it. Last year, I led my team to the Mideastern 3A Conference championship, our first in many years. This past year, I averaged 4 points, 1.4 assists, and 1.3 rebounds, and a steal a game. I am a very active defender, high energy, scrappy basketball player, and I look forward to personal challenges that come with the game that I love.
More importantly, over the course of my freshman year I maintained an average of GPA. One thing that I enjoyed about my freshman year was learning how to establish a balance between my craft and school.
Over the course of the summer, I will be developing and sharpening my game while playing for the Powerhouse Warriors of Supply, North Carolina. You can find my schedule and contact information below. Also, I will attach some film of me in game settings showing different faucets of what I can bring to your program.
